Panda Cloud Antivirus Free

Panda Cloud Antivirus is the most known cloud based antivirus. The advantage of a cloud based antivirus like Panda is that the Antivirus is very light and it is always up to date.

Who would not like the idea of having a very light antivirus and at the same time a antivirus that is always up to date.
When one of my RAM died, I needed to free up some RAM since 1GB is barely enough. So I tried it and here’s my review on it.
The computer I’m using is a Pentium 4 with 1GB RAM (sadly one of my RAM died so I’m stuck with only 1GB until I can replace the other RAM) running on Windows 7 Ultimate.

The Antivirus is truly very light. It also doesn’t affect your internet speed even when it is synchronizing with the server. It consumes the least amount of RAM among all Antivirus I tried (AVG, Avast, Nod32).
But sadly, my computer got infected with a virus and it can’t even detect it. All the flash drives I inserted ended up infected by the virus hiding all the files in it replacing it with a shortcut. I tried to do a scan and it really can’t detect the virus. I installed their dedicated cloud based scanner to scan my computer and it did detect a virus. I needed to restart my computer 3x during the scan and it even allowed me to clean the temporary files. It deleted it’s detected virus but it seems what it deleted was only part of the virus and not the whole virus. Now it seems to get worst causing the memory card I inserted to get corrupted and losing all the files on the memory card.
Now I’m going back to Avast after having this kind of experience with their product. Yes it is light, but it doesn’t seem to actually work. My computer is always connected to the internet so it should be able to connect to the server and it is also doing a real time scan. But still, I got infected with a virus and it can’t even detect it. The dedicated scanner they made detected the virus was not able to really delete it.

Conclusion: Panda is light; but it doesn’t work

3 reasons why you should choose Windows Phone over Android

Windows Phone is Microsoft’s baked OS for smart phones. It introduced a new UI (User Interface) in the mobile world. Many FanDroids (Android Fans) usually bash or troll in a forum regarding Windows Phone. This makes some people confuse after they post in forums about lack of apps and how it will disappear soon due to lack of market share.
Now let me clarify some things. Windows Phone has lots of apps in the market. But not as many as Android. Android has been there years ahead of Windows Phone. Windows Phone also implements a new programming language (C#) which is also one of the reasons why some developers are still not able to adopt Windows Phone. Developers are still in the process of adopting the new operating system and the operating system itself is still in the process of growing.

Now let’s get down to business. Here are some reasons why you should choice Windows Phone instead of Android.

1. It is more secured
Windows Phone is a close sourced operating system. One advantage of this is that unlike open-sourced like Android, hacking a closed-sourced operating system is harder and Microsoft usually release new updated to cover up those security vulnerabilities. You are most likely not going to worry about getting a virus on a Windows Phone based smart phone or having security issues.

2. It is more fluid
There have been many debates regarding this. Many android fans are always in denial regarding this issue. But let’s face it. Android is not a very fluid operating system. Even quad core android phones have occasional lags. And most entry level Android devices suffer a lot. But for windows phone devices, even a entry level device like the lumia 520 runs very smooth even with all those animations. It barely suffers a lag even with just a 512mb ram.

3. It is less power hungry
One issue with android operated devices is that it gets battery low very quickly. This is due to some installed apps running in the background while it is in standby mode. But Windows Phone devices use multi-taking ala iOS. Only communication apps or apps that require to run actively in the background are allowed to run (like Viber and Skype). Other apps like games are then paused once you minimized it stopping the process and saving the data in the RAM. And when you run the app again, the app is then resumed to the last state you left it. So when you set the device in standby, usually only the system is running and the apps are stopped saving you lots of battery. The Operating System itself is lighter as compared to android using only a small amount of resources when running saving you battery.

Here are some weird facts about people with higher intellect.

1. Many of these people didn't even make it to the top in their High School days.
The higher the intellect of a person, the more he/she tend to avoid doings things that he/she finds pointless or boring. And that includes listening to subjects like history or mathematics. These types of person usually don’t listen to classes attentively but tend to do cramming the night before the exam. And that alone just shows the level of intellect that person have. That person is not listening to classes but still pass an exam by studying the lesson which took days or weeks in just a night.

2. They are curious.
The higher a person’s intelligence is, the more curious a person become. They tend to find facts about things that they are interested in. Like when they are interested in smart phones. We usually just look at the User Interface of the phone, camera and screen clarity. But they are different. When they get interested in a smart phone, they research about the types of processor for smart phones, types of touch screen, types of camera sensor, and other more technical stuff. And they compare the hardware inside the phone with the latest hardware and judge the phone’s performance basing on it. That’s how curiosity brings them more knowledge. They are usually the one’s you refer to as nerd.

3. They tend to be night owls. Most of them sleep late at night and wake up late usually in the afternoon. That is why they are commonly referred to as lazy people. They stay awake at night when most people are sleeping so that no one is there to disturb them. They do their studying at night, their researching at night and even eat a full meal past 12 (like a vampire). This is commonly the reason why most of them have a bad heart when they get old because they usually eat a full meal at night and their sleep is not that peaceful because of the noise early in the morning which is disturbing their rest.
*There is a more scientific explanation about this habit which you can find on the internet

4. They excel in things they do.
Most of them usually excel in things they are interested in. Let them do what they want and you’ll see how persuasive they are at doing it. Let them take the course they want in college and let them choose the school; you’ll see they could even excel in that field and be the top in the class.

5. They usually prefer to be accompanied by people with intellect.
Most of them prefer to talk about nerdy stuff like the latest technology, latest discover, etc. They find conversations like rumours about a celebrity boring. They also prefer to be with people who are not that noisy. They prefer to be in a silent environment where noise is not that much. Some even prefer to be just at home most of the time. They are usually the one who you classify as loner.

6. They hate doing physically stressful things.
No one is created perfect in this world. They may have been blessed with a higher intellect then some of us but they don’t have that much stamina. Most of them hate PE classes and tend to find excuses so that they can’t join activities like jogging or outdoor activities. They prefer to be just sitting around reading what they want rather than running around or walking. They are more suited to become a leader because of their quick thinking and good memory. They can easily think of a way to do things more quickly but prefer to let someone do it and just give the instruction.
